The T-Mobile HTC Sensation 4G cell phone is by far the best phone on the market. battery life is phenomenal. internet is fast enough to stream movies off sites that require high bandwidth for buffering. watched hangover 2 streaming full blast volume barely phased battery life. New lock screen is tits. Camera can take a picture per second, pretty cool, movies look super crisp, perfect weight.  I ended up calling them and apparently if you buy in store, the price listed is the price you get, no matter how many lines you upgrade! I just got the phone…from walmart…$148.88

The new Sprint Motorola Triumph cell phone very attractive- it’s thin, sleek, and compact. I like the simple, minimalistic design. This looks like a great phone. Finally something worth buying from a prepaid carrier. This is for people who don’t want to get into a 2 year contract and pay over 100 dollars a month and now you don’t have to settle for a crappy phone.

Pros: no motoblur, flash support and 5.0 mp camera w flash, dirt cheap plans, hdmi out, large screen

Cons: no Adnroid Gingerbread 2.3, screen is wak, RAM is not much, cheap plastic material, slow 3G

The new Motorola Photon 4G first CDMA/GSM phone, I am now glad to be on Sprint. It looks like a pretty good phone specs wise. I like the kickstand, perfect angle to watch while at my desk. The Photon 4G better than the Atrix, that Motoblur actually looks nice. That is a very Sexy looking phone! I like this device, I am not on Sprint, nor will it make me want to go to Sprint. but it’s a move in the right direction as far as i am concerned. I wish there would be a release date!

BabyCare

Babies Need Serious Sun Protection to Prevent Cancer

Too much time in the sun may be especially harmful for Baby, according to a review of new insights by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) into the importance of protecting young skin.

Baby and toddler skin differs considerably from the skin of older children and adults, so it’s important to protect infants from early on. The notion that babies don’t get sunburned is false; research has shown evidence of UV-induced pigmentation, starting with baby’s first exposure to summer sun. And those early changes, the AAP report says, may contribute to the development of skin cancer later on.

(More on Time.com: Top Sunscreens, Ranked by Two Consumer Health Groups)

As a result, pediatricians need to emphasize the importance of staying safe in the sun to new parents. “We need to recalibrate our thinking,” says Amy Paller, the AAP report’s lead author and a professor of pediatrics and dermatology who is chair of the dermatology department at Northwestern University. “We need to be vigorous with sun protection from early on.”

What we know about sun protection is all based on studies in adults. But there are physiological differences between kids and adults in the barrier function of skin, with fluctuating lipid-to-protein ratios and various sizes of cells. Research has shown that the skin on the backs — or outside — of babies’ arms changes in pigmentation when they’re exposed to UV light.

“Even in the first summer of life, when we say, Oh, kids are not getting any sun, they are,” says Paller. “There is a measurable difference.”

(More on Time.comPregnant Women Awash in Chemicals. Is That Bad for Baby?)

The AAP’s current recommendation is to apply sunscreen to babies six months and older — parents should use sunscreens with gentler, more moisturizing ingredients for babies — but Paller says that lower age limit is most likely flexible. “There’s probably no harm in putting sunscreen on a younger child, after the first few weeks.”

Sunscreen is only one defense against sun exposure for babies and children — as well as adults. You should also practice sun avoidance, especially for kids under 6 months old, which means staying out of the sun during the hottest parts of the day — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Remember also to wear protective clothing. If you are using sunscreen, be sure to use enough and to reapply regularly.

(More on Time.comDermatologist Susses Sunscreen Cancer Risk)

Selecting appropriate sunscreens is another challenge. In general, physical sunscreens that rely on titanium dioxide or zinc oxide to block the sun’s rays, and sit on the surface of the skin, are preferable to chemical sunscreens, which contain chemicals that may be absorbed by the skin. It can be hard to find affordable physical sunscreens, though — often marketed as “natural” sunscreens — that don’t contain preservatives such as parabens, which some experts worry may disrupt the endocrine system. “It’s hard to get away from additives,” says Paller.

So are parabens a problem? “They can be a sensitizer, but they’re not as bad as many think,” says Paller.

essence: Mohsin

Muthophoner Goddo

Mohammad Mohsin

Muthophone, nowadays has become one of the most used technologies in poor country like Bangladesh. People of all classes use it though the youngsters abuse it to a great extent. They waste not only their valuable time but also money in chatting hour after our, messaging etc. And it is needless to say that it is immensely used as a medium of telling lies.

Ringing off and on, without any notice, a muthophone can really be very disturbing. It cries with irritating tone or melody at midnight when one is sleeping or at midday when one is taking lunch. Calls may come at the most unexpected moment when one is engaged in a serious job. Such a necessary evil it has become!

The most recent supplied muthophone sets, on top of these, having multiple amenities like mp3, mp4, camera, video etc. are so much available in the palm of youngsters. The young boys and girls would chat with one another through the night to avail themselves of free or low-tariff opportunity offered by the mobile companies. Muthophone makes them feel romance but snatches away their spirit to work. Students like us would forget their lessons led up to poor performance in classes and finally in examinations. They can’t realize that they are getting addicted and deteriorated day by day. What is a matter of great  disappointment is that it rings on the class or exam hall and consequently the teacher, involving in class, loses his/her temper and gets diverted.

The touch of missed calls may come from your spouse or friend or from anybody. And it makes you worried so you call them back. What is more irritating is call from a wrong number. That asks you, “Are you Rasel bhai or Sumi apu?’’ You just gently say, ‘‘ Sorry, I’m not the person you are looking for. But some are not giving you up so easily. They will phone you again and  again  and ask your details.

I wish I would get rid of the hazards of muthophone. But the technology has entangled my existence with it (and most likely yours too) and I can’t get out of it. It has eaten up our mind and damaged our brain cells. In spite of having immense demerits, according as our use, we cannot live without it, can we?

Radiation

Is This Earless Rabbit a Product of Japan’s Radiation?

By:

A video of an earless baby bunny reportedly living near the Fukushima nuclear zone has sparked concerns of the long-term effects of radiation on both animals and humans, yet experts caution that this rabbit may not be what it seems. So what’s up, doc?

After being online for only two weeks, this YouTube clip has received almost 2 million views because of its startling star: an earless baby bunny. The user who posted the clip wrote that the bunny was born near the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant, which was severely crippled following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan on March 11.

Almost instantly, the Internet was abuzz with speculation that the rabbit’s lack of ears was a mutation caused by radiation exposure. But experts aren’t so sure.

(VIDEOS: The Adorable Dozen: Bizarre Animal Friendships)

University of Miami biologist (and rabbit expert) Dana Kremels told MSNBC that earless bunnies are rare but not unheard of — See Vincent, Lillen and this one for sale — and that the lack of ears on this one might not be a mutation, but instead a mutilation by its mother:

“There are many different reasons a rabbit may be born this way or acquire this characteristic early on, not least of which is a stressed mother rabbit who overgrooms her babies to the point of mutilation,” Kremels told MSNBC. “This is the most common reason we see baby bunnies with missing ears or limbs. So while it’s possible that the earless condition of this baby is congenital (i.e., bun was born with it), it’s also possible that it was acquired after birth.”

(PHOTOS: Amazing Moms of the Animal Kingdom)

So while this bunny might seem a little, well, funny, no one can be certain of its actual whereabouts, its health and if it was born without those long ears. Speculation aside, NewsFeed wants to point out that even though it’s earless, this bunny is still adorable.
